SATHI Project

In our Team, we have 4 to 5 teachers. We have started “SATHI” project & our teachers are conducting various activities related to education.
Some of the activities are:-
1) Mari Kalpana nu Vishwa
2) Manyta ke Mulya
3) Hakikat ke Mantavya
4) Purvgrah
5) Swarth Niswarth
Our teachers regularly visits more than 30
schools & provide extra coaching to all
students. Our Trust covers more than
2500 children. We also provide them with
notebooks, ballpens, pencils and compass
boxes.

Common Service Center

Now a days Government have many schemes and policies for lower class in India but due to lack of awareness and knowledge they do not accept or apply for these policies or schemes. In that case our team organizes regularly CHC camps inDharampur area & help the get educated about following:
1)PM Aayushman Card
2)PM Shramyogi Card
3)Aadhar Card checking & update
4)WIN Card
5)Many more scheme details

Covid-19 Vaccination

Due to lower level of education & lack of knowledge, interior places of villages are not ready for Covid vaccination. Government
requested our team to arrange vaccination in that area and try to give vaccines to as many people as we can. So, our Team & govt. team convinced and got around 3500 people vaccinated. In this camp we also gave plates & bowls to vaccinated peoples as an incentive.

Nutritious Meal Distribution

In tribal area, peoples are getting poor quality and low quantity of food so they are
facing many physical problems related to health. Our team had made a program & distributed food & milk to children in Khoba
Village. We also serve a full Indian meal on every Sunday on behalf of many donners.

Medical Camp

Our team with the help of Rotary Club Surat Tapi has successfully conducted two medical camps for the interior places of Dharampur on 11.07.2021 & 21.11.2021. The total number of patients was 357. In these medical camps, our special team of doctors had examined the eyes, noses & throats. Our team had distributed spectacles to eyes patients. We also gave them vitamins tablets and many other needed medicines to every patient. In these camps, We also provided food kits to reduce malnutrition. In these camos, we served meals to the team of doctors as well as all the patients.

Medical camp for pregnant women.

Our team has successfully conducted a medical camp for pregnant women in the interior village of Dharampur on 09.09.2021. The total number of patients who attended the camp was 240. We arranged a basic check-up for a better future for them and their babies. We also distributed mosquito nets and food kits to them to reduce malnutrition. We also served them a meal.

Help farmers to be Aatmanirbhar

One of our goal is to help Farmers
to be “Aatmanirbhar ( self-reliant). Farmers have limited
resources like water & land. Due to limited resources, their
lifestyle is lower. Our Team is trying to develop new models
for making them self dependent. We are
developing Nursery business by providing them seeds &
bags. Our team will purchase their plants. We also distributed
mango plants to the farmers to help them earn a living.

Repaired oil workshop

People of Dharampur Taluka depends on only forest products. One of the product that they mostly use is from a tree name “Mahuda”.
They use rind, flowers & seeds of this tree. They make oil from the seeds and uses oil for their daily consumption.To extract the seed oil of Mahuda, they have to travel 50 KM from Dharampur city. Considering to their distress, repaired oil workshop is built at village Khapatia for their own use by Gopal Charitable Trust & Rotary Club Surat, Tapi.

Food kit distribution during first lockdown.

“Food kits during the first lock down of COVID19 in the interior places off Dharampur, Valsad and Surat. The food kit was formed with the basic ingredients such as rice, dal, wheat, oil and spices. Which was sufficient for 7 to 10 days.”
